The dial is a nearly perfect double-sunk example made with grand feu enamel. The movement is a pristine example of the Waltham Maximus, one of their highest grades. With 23 jewels and stunning decoration on all components, you’ll have to take this off to show your friends the exhibition back. The movement and dial are also one of the older ones we’ve restored recently. It was built by Waltham in Massachusetts in 1903. Only 300 Maximus models were made in this style which is a small number considering the total production of the Waltham Watch Company was over 40,000,000 movements.
