This stunning watch stands out with this clean and classic dial that pairs so nicely with our machined titanium case and nickel-plated crown. These ornate kite-shaped hands stand out from the face to bring attention to the finer details of the dial. If you look closely, you will notice these subtle vertical accents that run all across the face. As we turn this watch over to reveal the movement inside, we are drawn to the unique shape of the build plate that leads the eye down to the regulator. Gold-plated gears and a brass balance wheel bring some precious metal accents as well as 17 screw-set jewels throughout. The subtle damaskeened pattern all across the different build plates adds to the visual movement that was a true testament to the craftsmanship of the time. This watch was originally manufactured by the Elgin National Watch Company in Elgin, Illinois, in 1920. This is the same year that the League of Nations was established. The inauguration took place in Paris, France, and was focused on bringing peace among nations following WWI. \u003c\/span\u003e","brand":"Vortic Watch Company","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":39520234995790,"sku":null,"price":2000.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1710\/0345\/products\/2021-10-18-5265.jpg?v=1634599844","url":"https:\/\/vorticwatches.mom\/products\/the-chicago-146-46mm","provider":"Vortic","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
